Golden Globes 2021: dit zijn de winnaars en dit droegen ze 'thuis' voor de uitreiking

De 78ste editie van de Golden Globes Awards, de prestigieuze prijsuitreiking van Amerikaanse film en televisie of 2020 georganiseerd door de Hollywood Foreign Press Association, zag er door de pandemie anders uit dit jaar. Een virtuele liveshow werd vanop twee locaties, namelijk New York en Beverly Hills in LA, uitgezonden met een livestreaming van gastheer Tina Fey en Amy Poelher. En dat leverde soms grappige taferelen op. Zo kon het publiek soms letterlijk binnen piepen in het huis van deelnemende celebrities om hen er in een full glam look aan te treffen, pronkend in hun sofa voor de buis waarop de liveshow te volgen was. Wat normaal een avond vol glitter & glamour is, en waarop Hollywood zich van zijn of haar beste kant laat zien, werd dit jaar dus een huiselijk en intiem onderonsje, weliswaar in outfits waar de gewone sterveling alleen maar van kan dromen. Misschien was dit de editie waar het echt wel om het winnen van een gouden beeldje draait, en minder om een jurk die het internet doet crashen?
